Newport Golf Club

Set on the downs above Newport town, surrounded by fantastic views, Newport Golf Club was founded in 1896. The short 9-hole course requires accuracy and provides a great challenge for any golfer visiting the Isle of Wight, especially the fifth and sixth holes, said to be one of the best two back-to-back holes there are. In recent years, a driving range and academy have been established, providing benefits to both club members and the surrounding community, including tuition for local schools.

Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club
18 Holes – Par 70
Measuring 5,984 yards, Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club provides a warm welcome to all, both members and visitors alike. The tight tree-lined fairways are protected by greens, hand-mowed, providing an excellent putting surface.
In June 2025, Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club were lucky enough to host the Hampshire County Championships, the 12th time the Championships have been held here.

Freshwater Bay Golf Club

One of the Isle of Wight’s most spectacular courses, Freshwater Bay Golf Club offers stunning views across the English Channel from the 5,725-yard course. Westridge Golf Centre

Westridge Golf Centre features a challenging 9-hole Par 31 course that spans 2,012 yards and is in the process of being transformed into an 18-hole Par 64 course measuring 4,480 yards. The layout is designed for easy walking, with a few signature holes that present a nice challenge.
Besides the golf course, Westridge features the only covered floodlit golf range on the Isle of Wight, enabling you to hone your skills 363 days a year. There’s also a practice bunker and a large putting green for you to work on your game.

Browns Golf Course

Located on Sandown Seafront, Browns Golf has been enjoyed by families and friends since 1932, when it was designed by 3x Open Championship winner Sir Henry Cotton. This historic course is also home to the World War II Operation Pluto pump house, which helped fuel the D-Day landings.

This summer, make your way to Tapnell Farm for a unique blend of two much-loved sports – Football Golf! This exciting attraction is perfect for families and offers a fun experience for everyone, as long as they can kick a ball. The game follows the same principles as golf, but instead of using clubs, players aim to score by kicking the ball into the hole in the fewest kicks possible.
