Dogs Welcome

The Isle of Wight is dog-friendly, with your four-legged pal being allowed on all Island beaches between October and Easter. Some beaches are dog-friendly all year round. Check out Compton Bay, Colwell Bay and Freshwater Bay.

Searching for Fossils

Brook is best for fossil hunting. The winter months are perfect, as the rougher waters wash ashore hidden treasures. Walk in the footprints of Iguanodons here too.

Fishing

Whether you are a freshwater fisherman or sea angler, day or night, there are plenty of spots across the Island to cast your line into. Totland should be your first point of call.
