Home » Gurnard
Gurnard is a small, pretty village and is a particularly good location to watch liners and large ships entering Southampton Water.
In addition, there is a popular sailing club which regularly meets and races. The beach at Gurnard is predominantly pebbles. It is an excellent vantage point with good views and is a great place to catch the sun as it sets beyond the beach huts. There is a café and a pub, plus public toilets all easily accessible from here.
Southern Vectis bus route 32 serves Gurnard on its way between Cowes and Northwood, and route 1 to Cowes and Newport.
