Discovered in 1926 when the owner of a nearby house was digging foundations for a garage, Newport Roman Villa is a late Romano-British farmhouse that dates back to around 280 AD.

The well-preserved remains offer a fascinating insight into rural life in Britain during the third century. The Villa features an impressive bath suite complete with underfloor heating and remnants of mosaic floors. Parts of the Villa have been rebuilt to showcase the materials that were used in its construction.
