Three more women with extraordinary stories set for the fourth Island Women event
Wednesday 14th October 2026 at 19:00 sees the next ‘In Conversation’ evening of the Island Women series. Held at the Island Sailing Club in Cowes, the event is open to all, with monies raised going to local charities.
October’s guests are:
- Charlotte Legg – Farmer & Creator of Duxmore Botanics
- Claire Westbrook – Founder of Carisbrooke Flower Farm & Firefighter
- Dr Angela Buckley – Crime Historian and Author
“Since coming up with the idea earlier in the year as a way of celebrating some of the amazing and inspirational women on the Island, I’ve been bowled over by the stories I have heard and the positive response to the evening events,” says founder Cheryl Buggy.

Tickets are £9.50.
Cheryl has also recorded more than 20 podcasts, which are available to download free of charge via podfollow.com/islandwomen. Podcasts are released weekly, and the dates for the live events for 2027 will be available soon.
