After a May Bank Holiday weekend filled with balloon activity, the Robin Hill team are delighted to announce that Sky High Night Glow will be returning to the Isle of Wight later this year.

Islanders have been revelling at the sight of beautiful hot air balloons floating through the skies above the Newport area this weekend, with hundreds of photos being shared across social media.

Today’s (31st) final day of the May event has officially SOLD OUT, but for those who didn’t make it to see the balloons, the event is planned to return to Robin Hill from 20th – 22nd August.

“Given the balloons’ dependency on calm air and stable winds, we’re over the moon to see so many up in the skies this year. The joy it’s brought to so many people over the past few days is a delight to see, and we’re all looking forward to welcoming balloons back to the Isle of Wight in August. I’d like to extend a huge thank you to all the land owners who have accommodated our crews this weekend and, of course, thank our pilots and wonderful guests for making the last few days so special.”

– James Crofts, Park Manager

August’s event will see another three-day extravaganza of balloon activity and live music from the park’s stunning Lower Valley fields.

After a period of closure due to Coronavirus restrictions, Sky High is Robin Hill’s first event since reopening and has kicked off what is set to be an incredible season of entertainment at the park.
