Rookley

Rookley is a small village located between Godshill and Newport. There are lots of local amenities all within the village, including a mini co-op (stocked with all the essentials) and a car garage. Just a short walk along the road and you will come to The Chequers Inn pub. A large country inn that is extremely family-friendly with both indoor and outdoor play areas. As you leave the village towards Godshill, there is The Lakes Rookley, a large holiday accommodation complex, a perfect place to stay while on the Isle of Wight.

For fresh produce, there is also a farm shop just outside of Godshill serving locally grown vegetables as well as locally reared meats and other wonderful Island produce.
