Home » Fishbourne
Known predominantly for being the ferry terminal for Wightlink Ferries crossing to Portsmouth. Fishbourne is a small village in the north-east of the Isle of Wight. As you disembark from the ferry, you can grab something to eat at The Fishbourne. A pretty little pub with a courtyard, perfect for watching the ferry come in on warmer days.
If you take a walk along the coastal path and go east, you will find yourself in the busy town of Ryde. Head west towards Quarr Abbey. A fully working Benedictine Monastery, you can wander the grounds, see cute piglets, and explore the church. You can then refuel at the on-site tea room, where they serve dishes made from local produce, including much that is grown onsite by the monks.
Southern Vectis bus route 9 serves Fishbourne on its way between Newport and Ryde, and route 4 on its way between East Cowes and Ryde.
Travellers to and from Portsmouth are served by Wightlink's vehicle ferry service.
