Today, it stands as a museum and gallery honouring her legacy, as well as featuring modern exhibitions from photographers worldwide. Additionally, visitors can explore a collection of photographs and posters from the iconic 1970 Isle of Wight Festival in the permanent exhibition.
Dimbola Museum & Galleries houses the renovated Dimbola Tea Room, which used to be Julia Margaret Cameron’s salon where she hosted her guests. At this delightful spot, you can savour homemade cakes, cream teas, breakfasts and light lunches.
