St Maur is a pretty 19th-century Victorian-style villa set on the south side of the Island in Ventnor. Just a short walk from the town, seafront and the secluded beach at Steephill Cove, it’s a wonderful couples’ retreat.

Comprising eight bedrooms, the property is surrounded by subtropical gardens, thanks to Ventnor’s unique micro-climate. Guests are treated to the freshest herbs and vegetables in dishes prepared at the guesthouse, thanks to the onsite garden.
