East Cowes beach is a mix of shingle and sand and popular with both residents and visitors alike.
The traditional promenade includes a children’s play area, café, paddling pool and great views over to Cowes on the opposite side of the river Medina. East Cowes beach is a short two minute walk from shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Safety equipment such as life jackets are placed along the Esplanade.
It is worth checking tide times as when the tide comes in and can completely submerge the sandy areas.
